• Smart scheduling: While this facial has very little downtime, you might experience some redness afterwards—like a minor sunburn. Plus, you won’t be able to wear makeup for at least 24 hours. • Pre- and post-treatment skincare: Avoid chemical peels, retinol and other laser treatments for at least two weeks before your Clear + Brilliant facial. Any facial needs to be clean shaven before the treatment. Afterwards, prioritize sunscreen to keep your sensitive skin protected (and yes, it’s normal for your skin to feel a little sandpapery for a couple days). Take a break from exfoliating for a week while your skin heals, and slather on soothing, hydrating products (we love this one).
